On July 12-14, The String Cheese Incident joined the globally renowned drone show specialist Nova Sky Stories to mark the band’s 30th anniversary with an electrifying night sky performance. To further stoke the collaboration and expand the celebratory nature of the event, the two entities have released a mini-documentary. Watch below.
During the drone show at Red Rocks, the night sky became a kaleidoscope of color, shapes and movement as 1,000 drones traveled harmoniously above the venue. Blurring the space between reality and fantasy, Nova described the experience as “Throughout the multi-day event, the fusion of music and drone artistry created an immersive experience that resonated deeply with the audience. Each show was a testament to the creativity and technical prowess of the artists and technologists behind the scenes.”
Since the String Cheese Incident began three decades ago, the group has built a deep connection with its followers by electrifying their following with memories that keep them coming back. Harnessed to instrumental unknowns and the intensity of companionship that keeps the six-piece an amalgamated force on stage, the documentary merges artistry with musical splendor.
