Today, July 26, the annual Newport Folk Festival returns to Fort Adams State Park in Newport, R.I. In tangent with the onset of the 65th-anniversary occasion, Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham have revealed exciting details about their unique set, slated for Sunday, July 28, on the Fort Stage, from 1:50-2:50 pm.

During the aforementioned frame, the longtime friends will welcome instrumental accompaniment from a four-piece band as they run through the entirety of Buckingham Nicks–the 1973 released eponymous set from Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. In addition to a top-to-bottom run-through, the pair have also promised to perform cult classics during their hour-long frame.

Ahead of Sunday’s stage time, Bird and Cunningham served a taste of what’s to come by posting a teaser reel showcasing a practice session. In the video, Cunningham can be seen strumming the acoustic guitar and embodying Nicks with lyrics from “Crying in the Night,” shared by Bird, who instrumentally adds violin for a toned-down take on the high-flying original.
