REPRISE, the latest collective to pay tribute to Phish, have announced two further shows for its 2024 tour schedule. Following its third and fourth performances this June, when the group will take the stage at Philadelphia’s Milkboy on June 13 and Woodstock, N.Y.’s The Colony on June 14, REPRISE will assume the spotlight at two further high-profile Northeast venues at the summer’s end. In its distinctive style, the band will not only perform Phish standards at these dates, by recreate classic performances from the band’s history in their entirety to salute the legacy of immersive stagings that Phish has cultivated over 40 years.
On Sept. 5, the band will bring its unique approach to the catalog of one of the jam’s guiding lights to Bridgeport, Conn. for a set at Park City Music Hall. The next day, Sept. 6, the band will race down the coast for another jam-packed set, sending off summer with a final show at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, N.J.
REPRISE is composed of a veritable who’s who of jam-scene favorites and rising stars, including Adrian Tramontano on drums, Cal Kehoe on guitar, Scott Chasolen on keyboard and Chris DeAngelics on bass. The upcoming June performances follow the band’s debut double feature at Burlington, Vt.’s Nectar’s on March 1-2, in which it offered up a reproduction of Phish’s March 13, 1989 Nectar’s show on the first night, followed up by a reenactment of the band’s July 16, 1994 Sugarbush show on night two. Walking in the iconic bands footsteps, these shows expand the live music experience to demonstrate the power and possibility of comprehensive, thoroughly-evaluated performances, rejoining Phans old and new in a celebration of the deliberate freakiness that makes the band unique.
