Widespread Panic closed out a two-night run at Memphis, TN’s Radiane Amphitheater at Memphis Botanic Garden last night. Margo Price opened on Friday while Paul Cauthen supplied support duties on Saturday.

As previously reported, on Friday Panic debuted their new tune “Cosmic Confidante” on night one. Last night, the group welcomed both of their weekend’s opening acts and busted out some tunes. Near the end of Panic’s second set, Price emerged to sing and play on two covers she joined in on with Panic at LOCKN’ in 2018, Tom Petty’s “Honey Bee” and “Piece Of My Heart,” which is often associated with Big Brother & The Holding Company. She then remained onstage as Panic closed their set with their own “All Time Low.” (Panic had not covered “Piece of My Heart,” since that LOCKN’ show, the only other time they played the number.) PanicStream also notes that the band had not played “Diner” in Memphis since November 23, 2001.

During their encore, the Georgia-bred ensemble invited out both Price and Cauthen for a cover of ZZ Top’s “Waitin’ For The Bus” that segued into a show-closing take on The Rolling Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” The latter song also served as a nod to Panic’s next gig, opening for the Stones at Denver, CO’s Empower Field on June 20.
