Producer/DJ LP Giobbi will return to the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on May 18 for a late-night appearance billed as her Dead House set. A homage to Grateful Dead classics, the artist intends to tap into her ever-evolving canon of jamband samples, igniting an all-out dance party this spring. The impending show will overlap with the first weekend of Dead & Company’s 24-show residency at The Sphere.

Giobbi’s post-Dead & Company date at the Brooklyn Bowl will arrive after her three-night stint on April 19, 20, and 21 at the same Sin City venue. The aforementioned dates align with Phish’s highly anticipated debut at The Sphere from April 18 through 21. Prior to Giobbi’s post-Phish stand, Eggy will warm up the stage on night one of Vermont-foursome’s residency, April 18.

Sticking with tradition, Giobbi will employ her love and knowledge of the jam music scene with specialty picks ranging from the Grateful Dead to Jerry Garcia originals. The artist will transition classic material into electronic-leaning dance-floor-ready epics to keep the audience grooving into the early morning hours.

Giobbi’s live experience builds off her Garcia (Remixed) set, a 50th-anniversary reworking of Jerry Garcia’s debut record, which was released in January 2023 and featured newly imagined takes on “Deal,” “Bird Song,” “Sugaree,” and “Loser.” In a 2022 interview with Relix, Giobbi referenced her connection to the music and Garcia, “When I began working on this project and I started listening to Jerry’s isolated voice, it really felt like I was listening to a family member.” Read more
