Four-time Grammy Award winner Sarah Jarosz celebrated the impending release of her Daniel Tashian-produced album, Polaroid Lovers, due out on Jan. 26, by appearing on CBS Saturday Morning: Saturday Sessions, where she performed three pre-release singles, including “Jealous Moon,” “Columbus & 89th” and “When The Lights Go Out.” Watch below.

Before this weekend’s stand, Jarosz debuted on the early morning television program alongside fellow I’m With Her members Aoife O’Donovan and Nickel Creek’s Sara Watkins. During her return, Jarosz worked through solo material, nodding to recent work and contemplative compositions that showcase her refined skillset.

Polaroid Lovers is Jarosz’s seventh album. The set is the first to feature the musician opening up to collaborators, leading sessions with Tashian, Ruston Kelly and Natalie Hemby. Her press release states, “The creative reorganization of her writing process evolved to include a much richer and more electric sound in the studio, and being in Nashville meant access to a world of hotshot players.”

The 11-track assemblage was recorded at the esteemed Sound Emporium in Nashville, Tenn., and features guests such as Rob McNelley (Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood), Tom Bukovac (Tom Petty, Vince Gill) on guitar and organ, her husband–bassist Jeff Picker (Nickel Creek), and drummer Fred Eltringham (Sheryl Crow, Lucinda Williams).

In support of the set, the artist has dropped a nearly 50-date tour, starting on Feb. 1, 2024, in Washington, D.C. Learn more here
