Today, organizers of The 65th Street Session series revealed that Grammy-winning artist Billy Strings will join Chris Thile for its final concert at the prestigious New York Philharmonic in New York City on Feb. 1. The series, which Thile has been curating since 2022, has highlighted musicians in their respective elements and has showcased the likes of Brad Mehldau, Jacob Collier, Madison Cunningham among others and will showcase Cory Wong, Louis Cato and Meshell Ndegeocello on Nov. 28.

The series has gained significant attention for its unique blend of musical talents and the iconic venue since its beginning. The addition of Billy Strings, whom Thile collaborated with on Béla Fleck’s “Charm School” off his Grammy-winning 2022 LP My Bluegrass Heart, adds an extra layer of excitement to an already highly anticipated grand finale. Additionally, organizers have hinted at additional surprise guests to be announced soon.

Limited pre-sale tickets for the event are now available, and fans can secure their seats using the exclusive code ’65FEBPRESALE.’ General on-sale for remaining tickets is scheduled for Friday at 10 am ET. Learn more and find pre-sale tickets here.
