Nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones is set to embark on a historic cultural exchange in Havana, Cuba, touted as Norah Jones: Vive En La Habana – A Musical Journey through Cuba’s Cultural Heart. The four-day event, presented by Dreamcatcher Events, is scheduled for Feb. 16-19, 2024, in the vibrant city of Havana.

This unique celebration of Cuba’s rich and diverse cultural tapestry promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for attendees. Highlights include two exclusive headline performances by Jones and her band at the historic Teatro Martí on Feb. 17 and 18, featuring songs from her critically acclaimed career.

The event will also feature special performances by some of Cuba’s most iconic and influential musicians, including multiple Latin GRAMMY Award-nominee Alain Perez, Afro-Cuban progressive rock band Sintesis, Cubadisco Award-winner Eme Alfonso, and others.

Jones expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event, saying, “I’m excited to be coming to Cuba for the very first time as part of a cultural and educational exchange. I’m looking forward to learning more about the country’s rich musical heritage and sharing my music through two shows with my band at the historic Teatro Martí.”

Each attendee will receive a limited-edition event poster personally signed by Jones and have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive soundcheck Q&A session at Teatro Martí. Moreover, participants will be able to join a Master Class with Jones and renowned musicians at the Institute Superior De Arte (ISA), Cuba’s leading arts university, to deepen their understanding of Cuba’s artistic and historical significance.

Attendees will be accommodated at the Parque Central Hotel in the heart of Old Havana, with opportunities to explore significant museums and cultural institutions, partake in a classic American convertible tour of Havana, and enjoy a walking tour of Old Havana. In addition, they will savor exquisite dinners at Havana’s finest restaurants, including La Guarida, Cocinero, Atelier, and Il Carbon.

While individual travel to Cuba for U.S. citizens is currently restricted, Dreamcatcher Events has obtained full authorization from both the U.S. Government (Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Asset Control) and the Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Cuba to produce the trip, ensuring that the unprecedented cultural exchange complies with all necessary regulations.
