Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have added three new dates to its impending schedule. The band, known for interpreting Grateful Dead classics and deep cuts, will perform a one-night stand in Charlotte, N.C., followed by two consecutive performances in Atlanta.
The first show added will occur at The Fillmore in Charlotte, N.C., on Feb. 8. The five-piece band, comprised of the Russo, Tom Hamilton, Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger and Dave Drewitz, will then make the short journey to Atlanta for a follow up at The Eastern, on Feb. 9 and 10.
Prior to the newly added dates, Russo and company are set to play at The Met in Philadelphia on Nov. 17, followed by a show in Madison, Wis., at the Sylvee on Nov. 30, and a two-night performance at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on Dec. 1 and 2. Moreover, the band will play at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Jan. 12 through 14.
