Billy Strings has announced plans to livestream his impending Halloween stand, which will occur on October 31 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. The wrestling-themed evening has been dubbed the Van Andel Scramble and will occur on one night only.

The event will feature a plethora of bluegrass-leaning artists, including Sierra Hull, Mark Lavengood, John Mailander (Bruce Hornsby & The Nose Makers), Bill Nershi (The String Cheese Incident), Chris Pandolfi (The Infamous Stringdusters) and Molly Tuttle. In addition to the aforementioned players, Duane Trucks (Widespread Panic) will also sit in on drums.

The Van Andel Scramble will be the latest iteration of Halloween celebrations put on by Strings and company, following 2022’s three-night Lord of the Rings trilogy, which took place at Asheville, N.C.’s ExploreAshville.com Arena. And, before that, the musician’s 2021 Wizard of Oz-themed holiday.

The event will be livestreamed free for subscribers of nugs.net, and live audio will be available for all at no additional cost.
