TR3 have announced that they will be going on tour this fall at select venues through the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. The trio, which was founded by Dave Matthews Band’s Tim Reynolds in the ‘80s, will start its tour in Raleigh, N.C., on Oct. 5 and end in Charlotte, N.C., on Oct. 15. The trio performance will feaure Mick Vaughn on bass, Dan Martier on drums and vocals and Reynolds.

TR3 will make their first stop at Bowstring Brewyard in Raleigh, N.C., before heading to Richmond, Va. to play at the Tin Pan. The trio will head to the town of Rescue, Va. to play at the Schoolhouse Event Venue, followed by a stop at Harrisonburg, Va., where they’ll play at Clementine Cafe. The group will head north to play in Columbus, Ohio at the Woodlands Tavern, and an ensuing gig in Cincinnati, Ohio, at Ludlows Garage. For the final segment of their tour, TR3 will stop by The Forum in Hazard, Ky., before ending back in North Carolina for shows at the Muddy Creek Music Hall in Sparta, N.C. and the Neighborhood Theater in Charlotte, N.C. 

Reynolds has been a member of Dave Matthews Band since 2008. During his tenure with the band, he has earned a reputation for his extremely technical guitar player and high-level improvisation. His music with TR3 is melds elements of jazz, funk and rock. TR3 has accumulated a large repertoire of music over the last four decades and has released many critically acclaimed albums and live recordings along the way. Their most recent LP, Wild in the Sky, came out in 2022.
