Previously this week, King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard announced their 2024 North American tour dates. The Australian jammers, who released their latest set, PetroDragonic Apocalypse, on June 16, 2023, followed up by adding a second night at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, N.Y., slated for August 16, 2024.
Initially, the band shared their plans to play at the Tri-State mentioned above area venue on August 17, 2024, in addition to a Sept. 1 gig at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, and the band’s largest headlining performance to date scheduled to take place at the storied Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash., on Sept. 14.
In addition to their aforementioned tour stops, King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard’s final appearance for this round of U.S. dates will be held on Nov. 15, 2024, with a stop at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. All the performances discussed thus far have been billed as marathon sets, which will last three hours.
