Billy Strings has assigned a theme to his New Year’s Eve run. The bluegrass golden boy, who recently tied the knot, unveiled that the impending holiday gatherings, slated for December 29, 30, and 31 at UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, have been billed as a Masquerade Soirée.

Prior to embarking on his New Year’s Eve presentations, the artist and his band will continue their massive headlining tour, which includes forthcoming performances at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore., the famed Frost Amphitheatre in Stanford, Calif., and other West Coast locations, before a peppering of Midwest appearances, leading up the band’s return to Europe.

After crossing the pond and returning to the U.S., Strings and company will participate in a wave of East Coast gigs, featuring two nights at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena and another double feature at Pittsburgh’s Petersen Event Center. After an added gig in Pennsylvania, the musician will arrive in Syracuse, N.Y., on Dec. 16, the final show before Strings’ takes a few weeks off, leading up to the New Year’s Eve celebration.
