Bill Kreutzmann has extended Billy & The Kids’ Daze of the Dead run. The initial dates were slated to include two nights at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. The original backbeat of the Grateful Dead has added a pair of California appearances, bringing the group of jammers to two new locations this fall.
After Capitol Theatre, which will happen on Oct. 20 and 21, Kreutzmann, along with his assemblage of friends and on-stage collaborators: Tom Hamilton, Reed Mathis, Aron Magner, and Jeff Franca, along with unnamed guests, will take the show to Mountain Winery on Saratoga, Calif., on Halloween, Oct. 31.
Following the second location dates, Kreutzmann and his band will make their way over to the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Nov. 2 to round out their Daze of the Dead dates on both coasts. The new appearances arrive after the band concluded their Dead on the Water run, which took them from Baltimore to New York City in August.
Artist pre-sale starts tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. P.T., using password: Treat. Public on-sale follows on Friday, Sept. 15 at noon P.T., at billkreutzmann.com.
