Today, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Trouble No More announced a pair of concerts set to take place at the Madison Theatre in Covington, Ky., on Nov. 24 and 25. The event, organized by Nectar’s Presents and Nederlander Entertainment, is set to unite the two of the most exciting acts in American improvisational rock music for performances that will traverse the expansive realms of rock and jam music.

The groups share a commonality not only through their tight and explorative playing but also a member: guitarist and vocalist Daniel Donato. The Nashville, Tenn.-based musician is known for his picking and ability to traverse the sonic flow from honky tonk to psychedelic and back again. Extensive touring has led to a growing fanbase and many memorable festival appearances.

Notably, a portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit two nonprofits: The Allman Brothers Band Museum in Macon, Ga., known as The Big House, and Covington’s Homeward Bound Shelter. The former’s primary mission is to preserve and promote the musical heritage and inclusive culture of The Allman Brothers Band through music educational programs and exhibits, while the latter is a 24-hour emergency shelter that provides a safe environment and residential treatment services for runaway, neglected, homeless, abused and dependent youth ages 11-17 in Northern Kentucky.
