FreeFall Bluegrass Festival has announced the collection of artists who will join them in Vail, Colo., on Oct. 14 & Oct. 15 for its inaugural event. The free bluegrass festival surrounded by the stunning changing fall colors, is set to be spectacular both visually and auditorily.

The event is set to welcome Bluegrass Generals, Drew Emmitt Band, Andy Thorn & Friends, Jeremy Garrett & River Wild, Tenth Mountain Division and Riverfront Ramblers. FreeFall Bluegrass Festiva also shared that more talent is to be announced at a later date.

“The Town of Vail is beautiful in October, the trees are still changing and the air is getting that
fall feeling. A need was seen to provide guests and locals with activities and entertainment
during this period,” said Diane Moudy of Resort Entertainment Group. “Bluegrass music is
family-friendly and fits in perfectly with the mission.”

Notably, FreeFall Bluegrass Festival aims to be an event for the whole family. Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, attendees and their families can enjoy the Rock and Roll Playhouse, a kid-centered concert that unites parents and their little ones to enjoy music, dance and play.

Admission is free to all attendees. Following The Rock and Roll Playhouse fun music on the main stage music will start at noon each day and continue to go on until 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023.
