The American Democracy Summit, formerly known as Unrig Summit, the right-left event aimed at solving America’s political crisis, has shared the names of individuals slated to take part during the conference, happening from September 27 through 29 at Magic Box in Los Angeles. The list also includes the names of musicians, who have signed on as guest performers.
The impending three-day gathering comprises congressional and state legislators, A-List actors, cultural influencers, board members of leading businesses and nonprofit organizations, academics, activists, and experts. Grammy-award-winning artists Ben Harper and Rivers Cuomo (Weezer) are among the musical guests who have signed up and play some music during the politically-dominant occasion.
In addition to musical guests, the event will boast appearances by politicians such as the Senior U.S. Senator (Alaska) Lisa Murkowski, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, former presidential nominee Andrew Yang, and more. The American Democracy Summit will also include confirmed speakers and actors like Michael Douglas, Ed Helms and others.
Conversations will pertain to pressing issues such as emerging election threats, getting money out of politics, ranked-choice voting, the fight for voting rights, AI and democracy, religion and democracy, gerrymandering, and social media’s power. The event was organized by RepresentUs, “America’s leading nonpartisan anti-corruption organization fighting to fix our broken and ineffective government.”
