Dogs In A Pile, the rising sensation in the jamband circuit, are gearing up to conclude their remarkable 2023 journey with a two-night extravaganza at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The performances will mark the band’s debut as headliners during the New Year’s Eve celebration and will take place on Dec. 30 and 31,
The choice of Saratoga Springs for the special occasion tracks as they’ve flexed their skills in the region throughout the year, with sold-out headline shows in Rochester and Ithaca, appearances at renowned festivals including Memorial Meltdown, Rye Bread, Catskill Mountain Jubilee, and ADK Fest, and a sold-out performance at the very same venue back in March.
However, 2023 saw Dogs In A Pile not only shine around Saratoga Springs: They scaled to new heights, starting with their maiden performance on Jam Cruise and the release of their second studio album, Bloom. They also performed a 36-date Winter Tour that spanned the United States, selling out shows in cities like Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Denver. The band also performed in Iceland, marking their international debut.
Since then, they’ve continued to tour relentlessly, making appearances at high-profile festivals, including a standout set at Electric Forest featuring Jeff Arevalo from Goose, followed by a display at The Peach Music Festival which saw 7,000 people attend – their largest show to date. They’re currently set to embark on a 41-date Fall Tour, which will start this week at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 6.
