Twiddle, the renowned jam quartet hailing from Vermont, have announced the upcoming release of their latest musical endeavor, The A-List: A Live Compilation of Music from April 2022-March 2023. The album, set to be unleashed on Sept. 8, 2023, marks the band’s first live record since their 2019 album Unplugged in Burlington.
The compilation, curated by the band, features 24 live tracks that were mindfully hand-picked from a series of captivating shows over the past year. Under the adept production of Adrian Tramontano, mastering by Dave DeCristo, and recording and mixing by Sam Johnson, the album offers over 4.5 hours of musical immersion derived from 14 distinct performances.
The band has provided a sneak peek into the musical treasure trove with the release of their first single, an extended rendition of “Jamflowman,” from their Oct. 26, 2022, concert at The Underground in Charlotte, N.C.
Vocalizing their excitement, frontman and guitarist, Mihali Savoulidis shared, “The ‘Jamflowman’ from Charlotte in October of last year was one of those moments of musical synchronicity that we aim for in our improv. We hope you dig this as the first cut from the A-List, and can’t wait for you all to hear the full thing in a few weeks!”
For collectors and enthusiasts, Twiddle have also unveiled a limited edition Gatefold Double LP, available for pre-order on the band’s official merchandise store. Crafted on clear vinyl with vibrant green and purple splatter, the LP’s artwork elegantly encapsulates the essence of the band’s live energy, featuring captivating photography by Dave Decrescente, the band’s longtime photographer.
