Sam Grisman Project has delivered a tour update in which they shared the dates and locations for live performances from now through December 2023. The ensemble–which delves into David “Dawg” Grisman and Jerry Garcia’s intertwined catalog of music, originals, and other favored covers on stage–will participate in a series of festival appearances, followed by coast-to-coast concerts.

After turning up at Green Mountain Bluegrass & Roots Festival in Manchester, Vt., on Friday, August 18, the group will jump coasts for a follow-up at Art Heart Soul Festival in Vashon, Wash., on August 26. Afterward, the group’s namesake, along with Ric Robertson, Chris J. English and Aaron Lipp, will participate in a series of Southern appearances slated for North Carolina and Tennessee.

On Sept. 15, they’ll take part in the Pickin’ in the Pines Festival in Flagstaff, Ariz. About a week later, the band will pop up in North Adams, Mass., for a Sept. 23 stand at Fresh Grass. They’ll traverse through the Midwest next, with a peppering of dates on the calendar, through the first week of October.

After a few weeks away from the road, Sam Grisman Project will return on Oct. 25, performing at the White Eagle in Jersey City, N.J. The following night, they’ll turn up at Stone Church in Brattleboro, Vt., just before a highly anticipated gig at the renowned Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, N.Y.

On the cusp of Halloween, the band plays at Gordon Center for Performing Arts in Owings Mills, Md., on Oct. 29. To follow, Grisman and friends will stay busy at the start of November, playing in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., leading up to their Nov. 10 stand at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, where they share a bill with the California Honey Drops.

December 9 will bring the band back to the West Coast for a pair of gigs, the first of which will occur at the Aladdin Theatre in Portland, Ore., followed by a show at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle on Dec. 10. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here
