Grateful Shred have added seven new dates to their North American tour. The band shared that they will traverse the East Coast this fall, with freshly tacked-on gigs slated to take place in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. On the schedule is the group’s first-time appearance at the legendary Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. 

Following already-announced shows in their home state of California–which will commence with a two-night stand at SoHo in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Sept. 14 and 15–the group will pick up additional Golden State appearances before arriving on the East Coast on Nov. 1, where they’ll play at The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio.

Next up, they will turn up in Chicago for three nights at the Chop Shop, on Nov. 2 through 4. The first newly added date will happen next, when the group, comprised of Austin McCutchen, Zeph Ohora, Dan Horne, Adam MacDougall, John Lee Shannon, Austin Beede and Alex Koford, turn up at Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio, on Nov. 5. 

In continuation of their East Coast tour, Grateful Shred will bring their take on the Grateful Dead’s archive to Indianapolis, followed by a concert in Pittsburgh on Nov. 8, before another show at Ardmore Music Hall, just outside Philadelphia the next night. The group’s highly-anticipated Capitol Theatre debut is scheduled for Nov. 10 and arrives prior to a show at Middle Ages Beer Hall in Syracuse, N.Y., on Nov. 11. The final concert of their run will occur on Nov. 12 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, N.Y.

Most recently, Grateful Shred delivered Live at Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn, NY (3/4/23), a live album that captures the group’s early-spring New York performance. The set features a plethora of favored renditions of Grateful Dead favorites, ranging from a true-to-form “Terrapin Station” to a jammed-out take on deep cut “Alligator.” Scroll down to stream.
