After a 25-year touring hiatus, Porno For Pyros have announced their plans to return to the road for a fully-fledged North American Tour. The string of appearances will mark the 30th anniversary of the alt-rock stalwarts’ self-titled release and commences with an Oct. 8 concert at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatlands, Calif. 

Porno For Pyros’ 21-city trek will continue to move through The Golden State, picking up stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles before arriving at Sin City’s House of Blues Las Vegas on Oct. 15. From there, they’ll turn up in Salt Lake City, before bursting into their Midwest dates, with gigs scheduled in Denver, Omaha, Neb., Madison, Wis., Chicago and Detroit. 

On Halloween weekend, the band will play at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Oct. 29, preluding their ensuing Oct. 30 gig at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. The band will return to The Empire State next, where they’ll play Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom on Nov. 1 before picking up a show in Pennsylvania, and Silver Spring, Md.

Then, they’ll dip down to the Southern region of the U.S., performing in Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, and Nashville, Tenn., Porno For Pyros will put on a display in New Orleans before their final string of appearances, which will take place in The Lone Star State and concluding on Nov. 20 at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas.

Before today’s announcement, the original members of the band: Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble) came together last year for a sold-out gig at Belasco in Los Angeles. Since then, they have performed at Rockville, the Chicago Metro, followed by a set at Lollapalooza. The band has been working on new material in the studio, with an expected new release later this year. 

Tickets will be available starting with presale beginning Wednesday, July 12. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.
