Kevin Morby, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Avey Tare, Cass McCombs and Taper’s Choice are among the acts slated to perform at Woods’ annual Woodsist Festival. The gathering will return to Accord, NY’s Arrowood Farm Brewery on September 23 and 24. Other acts slated to appear include: Bombino, Natural Information Society, Scientist, MJ Lenderman, Water from Your Eyes, Alabaster DePlume, Daniel Higgs, Tyvek, Anna St. Louis, Aquarium Drunkard DJs and Tubby’s DJs.
Both Morby and Vile released early recordings on Woodsist and Morby played bass in Woods for a number of years. This year’s festivities will be spread out on two stages and also feature craft brews, activities and local food vendors.
