Duane Betts and his wife, Lisa Hadley Betts, have announced their inaugural Horseshoe Music Festival, slated for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 1-3, at The Virginian Lodge resort in Jackson Hole, Wy. Betts, whose debut LP, Wild and Precious Life, arrives on July 14, will serve as the fest’s musical host, while artist and designer Hadley Betts presents a boutique-style celebration of art, food, fashion, and wellness. The weekend event centers around three themed nights of performances, headlined by Duane Betts and his Palmetto Motel band, and featuring soon-to-be-announced super-group collaborations led by Jimmy Vivino (Late Night with Conan O’Brien).

Sept. 1: Americana (inspired by traditional American music)

Sept. 2: Skulls & Peaches (inspired by the Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band)

Sept. 3: Blue New Orleans (Blues and New Orleans-inspired)

As well, there will be an after-party in the resort’s ballroom following each evening’s performances. Additionally, each day will offer a flea market, open to the public, featuring artisan-made or vintage fashion, and curated by Hadley Betts. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to two local causes: The Community Housing Trust, and The Snake River Fund.

All tickets, including VIP packages, are on-sale now.  Go to www.horseshoemusicfestival.com for more information.
