Sam Grisman, bassist and son of music icon David Grisman and his band, the Sam Grisman Project, have announced a string of new tour dates that will celebrate the music of his father, Jerry Garcia and beyond.

Grisman and his band–Ric Robertson, Aaron Lipp and Chris J. English, “The Core Four”–have been showcasing their genuine passion for the music that has so deeply inspired them while also sharing their own original creations this year. And now they’re set up to continue their mission to reveal the profound impact the music has had on their individual voices and bring joy to audiences far and wide as they play iconic and incredible songs as true compatriots.

In the spring, Grisman successfully did so with incredible stops across New England, and the new dates will see the artist and his friends further their mission with stops in cities across the U.S., including San Francisco, Albuquerque, N.M., Pelham, Tenn., Manchester, Vt. and Washington, DC from June 22 through Nov. 4.

“It’s been a wonderful whirlwind getting to play music for all of you fine folks this year, and we’re excited to be continuing our endless tour into the summer and beyond!,” the Grisman wrote on social media. “Please don’t be a stranger, grab some tickets, tell your friends, and come on out and hang with us! Follow us on @bandsintown and check our website for updates and new show adds and we’ll see you out on the road!”
