Sound Summit, the Bay Area festival set atop the scenic Mount Tamalpais in Mill Valley, Calif., has unveiled the five artists set to perform during the one-day gathering, slated for September 9 at Mountain Theater.

This year’s lineup will present live music courtesy of indie rockers Lord Huron, country-leaning singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell as well as favored alternative mainstay Kevin Morby. Also included on the late-summer schedule is genre-bending Marin County locals, Vinyl.

Rounding out the bill are Brokedown in Bakersfield, a collective of acclaimed artists, including Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Scott Law, Nicki and Tim Bluhm, alongside a rhythm section Lebo’s ALO bandmates, Steve Adams and Dave Brogan.

Sound Summit will mark Brokedown in Bakersfield’s first live appearance since 2014. During their festival set, the group will deliver numbers plucked from the likes of Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Graham Parsons and more as they pay tribute to 1960s Southern California.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, June 2, at 10 a.m. P.T., at www.soundsummit.net.
