Today, Connecticut-based rock quintet Goose have announced their first-ever European tour. The band–comprised of Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), Ben Atkind (drums), and Jeff Arevalo (vocals, percussion, drums)–will traverse cities in Europe starting on Nov. 3 through Nov. 19 over 10 shows.
The ensemble will kick things off at La Maroquinerie in Paris before visiting Cologne, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Brussels. They’ll then head over to the United Kingdom for shows in Glasgow, Machester, Bristol and finally, London, where they’ll play at the Electric Ballroom for the tour’s final show.
Goose is currently on the west-coast leg of their sold-out Spring Tour 2023, which began in March in Boston and includes performances at The Met in Philadelphia, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, The Salt Shed in Chicago, The Elm in Bozeman, and Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The band’s summer headline dates will begin with a two-night run at Louisville Palace Theatre in Louisville, Ky., on June 22-23, followed by a sold-out, two-night Independence Day celebration at Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, N.J., on July 3-4, and a visit to Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on July 7.
In addition, Goose will also be among the headlining acts at several upcoming festivals and events, including Daze Between New Orleans in New Orleans on May 2-3, Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Ill., on May 26-28, Cathead Jam in Jackson, Miss., on June 2, Riverbend Music Festival in Chattanooga, Tenn., on June 3, Railbird Music Festival in Lexington, Ky., on June 4, Electric Forest in Rothbury, Mich., on June 22-25, Resonance Music and Arts Festival in Garrettsville, Ohio on Sept. 22-24, and Levitate Music and Arts Festival in Marshfield, Mass., on July 8.
In support of building a safer and more supportive music industry through access to quality mental health care providers, Goose plans to donate $1 from each tour ticket to Backline, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources.
Local pre-sale tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. local, and the general on-sale will start this Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. local. Learn more and find tickets here.
