After Daze Between New Orleans wraps on Tuesday, May 2, a special first-time collaboration featuring a unique blend of funk and soul music will occur at The Howlin’ Wolf venue. The late-night show will feature Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk and Lawrence members and an opening frame from Eggy.

The impending concert, which is a part of Daze By Night, will see Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science), Eric Krasno (Soulive), Ian Neville (Dumpstaphunk) and Nick Daniels (Dumpstaphunk), all long-time collaborators and Jazz Fest regulars, team up with Clyde and Gracie of the band Lawerence, and their Horn Section.

Daze By Nite, co-presented by Relix, GMP Live, Live For Live Music and Purple Hat Productions, will occur after the initial festivities of Daze Between New Orleans, which are scheduled to take place at the historic Faubourg Brewery on May 2 and 3.

The Daze Between bill for Tuesday, May 2, features more music from Lawerence and local favorites Tank and the Bangas, as well as Melt, J & The Causeways, and jamband mainstays Goose.

Day two, Wednesday, May 3, will once again feature live music via Goose, in addition to The Revivalist, David Shaw, who intends to play a set. Moreover, additional frames are expected from George Porter Jr. and Runnin’ Pardners, Honey Island Swamp Band, and Daze By Night contributors Eggy.
