Last night, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros picked up their residency at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., after a day off on Thursday. During the performances, the band, along with their orchestric section, the Wolfpack, were joined by harpist Mikaela Davis during the latter half of both the first and second sets.

Weir and his ensemble opened the weekend up with “The Music Never Stopped,” which contained a cover of Rob Wasserman’s “Easy Answers,” which found its way to a reprise of the former. Next came Jerry Garcia’s “Loser” and Johnny Cash’s “Big River.” They then dipped into the Weir-penned “She Knows What I’m Thinkin'” followed by the Garcia-penned “Deal.” Earlier in the evening, Weir shared an image of a harp on Instagram, and it wasn’t long before rumors of Davis’ appearance began circulating. Fans were happy to be proven right as she stepped on stage, joining for “Candyman” and a set closing “Bird Song.”

The second set kicked off with Eddie Cooley’s Fever before Bobby Weir, and Wolf Bros moved from the Ratdog favorite “Ashes and Glass” into Roy Hamilton’s “Don’t Let Go” into a reprise of “Ashes and Glass.” With the music never stopping, Davis returned to the stage to add her angelic inclinations on “Dark Star,” which led to the funk favorite “Shakedown Street.” Still, without pause, the ensemble played Garica’s “The Wheel,” which moved into a cover of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows,” marking another cover by The Fab Four by Weir and company over the ongoing stint.

The euphonous sounds continued to flow as Davis, Weir, and the rest of the company flowed to into a penultimate “Days Between” and a set closing “Not Fade Away.” After much applause and celebration, the ensemble returned for an encore with Davis in tow of “Ripple.”
