Last night, Jan. 18, the Disco Biscuits kicked off their winter tour at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. The performance saw several extended jams and rarities, including “Rainbow Song” and “Plan B” during the first set, both of which weren’t played for all of 2022.

The Disco Biscuits kicked off their tour opening set with “Mulberry’s Dream,” effectively breaking the seal and setting the bar for what’s sure to be a phenomenal year for the band. Next, they got the party going with “Strobelights and Martinis,” which melded into “Tourists (Rocket Ship)” into the aforementioned “Rainbow Song.” They rounded the frame out with a jam of “Plan B” into “Once The Fiddler Paid” and closed with “Spraypaint.”

The second set got the audience moving immediately with “Why We Dance.” They kept the energy running with a non-stop groove through the end of the frame comprised of “King of the World” > “We Like To Party” > an inverted version of “Twisted in the Road.” Without pause, they flowed into “Shocked,” which morphed into the closing song “Munchkin Invasion.”

After a fantastic two sets, much applause and a short break, the Disco Biscuits returned to the stage for a rendition of “Story of the World.” The ensembles tour will continue to tour through April and will stop at venues like Burlington, Vt.’s Higher Ground, Pelham, Tenn.’s The Caverns, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., for multi-night stints
