Athens, Ga.’s Futurebirds announced their annual Black Diamond Tour will return this year for its fourth iteration. The event will see the ensemble visit towns across the Centennial State and Wyoming and will reach its apex with a performance at Rendezvous Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Futurebirds will familiarize themselves with the Rocky Mountains through a performance at the Ogden Theater on Feb. 4 with special guest and collaborator Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, who has released two EPs with the band: Bloomin’ and Bloomin’ Too.

After an extended repose, the band will kick things off with a two-night stay at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colo., on March 17 and 18. They’ll then head to Aspen’s Belly Up for a performance on March 20. From there, they’ll have another two-night stint, this time, at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colo., on March 24 and 25. It’s notable that during these performances, the band will feature a Mad Alchemy Liquid Light show which incorporates footage from beloved Teton Gravity Research’s first films.

The run will conclude with the aforementioned Rendezvous Festival, which will also welcome performances by The Revivalists, ZZ Ward, Ryan Bingham, The Texas Gentlemen, Elle King, Dumpstaphunk, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band, from March 31 through April 2.
