New Potato Caboose have shared their plans for their first two shows of 2023, commencing later this month, in support of their latest album, It Ain’t A Thing.

On Jan. 20 and Jan. 21, the ensemble will embark on a brief but all-encompassing jam journey hitting The Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, Va. and The Hamilton in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20 and 21 respectively. For their first shows of 2023, the group have promised to return to the stage with beloved covers and authentic originals from their newest 11-track LP; It Ain’t a Thing. For the performances, they’ll be joined by Suggested Rhythm as support.

It Ain’t A Thing was produced by John Alagia, who has worked with John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Lukas Nelson and more, and like the band itself – whose name was inspired by the 1968 track “New Potato Caboose”– is highly influenced by the musings of the Grateful Dead, both in sound and image.
