Blue Ox Music Festival, the Eau Claire, Wis.-based Bluegrass and Americana festival, has announced the first group of acts who will be joining them at The Pines Music Park on June 22-24, 2023. The festival boasts headliners The Avett Brothers, Phish’s Mike Gordon, the Sam Bush Band and two nights of bluegrass virtuosos Pert Near Sandstone.

The rest of the initial lineup includes some serious talents in the modern Americana scene, including country picker Charley Crockett, The Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull, Charlie Parr, The Kitchen Dwellers, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Yasmin Williams, among many others. Blue Ox promises to announce even more talented acts in the months to come.

2023 will mark the seventh installment of the Blue Ox Festival since its inception in 2015. Both the festival and the on-site campgrounds are family-owned and operated by a team with over 30 years of music festival experience, creating a wholesome backdrop for any and all types of festival-goers. With the goal of a fan-centric, all-ages experience, Blue Ox celebrates the Americana and Bluegrass experience.

Aside from the impressive music lineup, Blue Ox provides a variety of activities for a complete festival experience. The festival grounds are complete with regional food trucks, beer, liquor and craft vendors. Additionally, they offer a “soul sanctuary” consisting of a wellness tent featuring yoga, sonic ceremony, sound healing, meditation, breathwork and reiki. There are also instrument and songwriting workshops, a potluck picnic area, late night sets and family stage entertainment.

More information about the festival, including nearby hotels, shuttles and a site map can be found here. One, two, or three-day GA tickets and camping passes are on sale now and can be purchased here.
