Tonight, beloved saxophonist James Casey is set to perform at Hootenanny New York at Rockwood Music Hall’s Stage 2. The lineup for the evening also features Adam Levy, Thana Alexa, Melany Watson, Nicole Zuratis and Everett Bradley under the direction of David Cook.
The Trey Anastasio Band member announced he’ll join the performance yesterday on social media, writing, “Hey y’all…I’m gonna be performing a few of the songs from ‘A Little Something For Everyone’ on Monday night, 12/5 at @rockwoodmusichall with some amazing musicians at The Hootenanny!!!! If you’re free, come thru cause all the performers are amazing.”
Since forming, Hootenanny–which initially was founded in Los Angeles–has hosted artists including Leon Bridges, Butch Walker, Lucy Woodward, Mike Viola, Theo Katzman of Vulfpeck, Margaret Glaspy, Gaby Moreno and Madison Cunningham and is now one of the most sought-after nights of music in the City of Angeles.
