Railroad Earth took to social media yesterday to share an announcement with fans and followers. The New Jersey quartet took a moment to reveal that Dave Speranza will step in and join the band on bass after Andrew Altman announced his departure from the group in late September.
Shared across their official social media platforms, they boasted: “We’re delighted to announce Dave Speranza will be joining Railroad Earth on bass.” Then, they went on to share some background information about the musician, “Dave lives in Brooklyn, NY and amongst many accolades, most recently hails from Sarah Jarosz tour sharing the stage with Mike Robinson.”
The Tom Sheaffer-led group shared that Speranza’s first gig along the Garden State mainstays will occur next week when Railroad Earth arrives South of the Border for the sold-out Strings & Sol destination concert event in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.
