Snakes & Stars is a new project that consists of The String Cheese Incident/EOTO’s Michael Travis and Brazilian Girls’ Aaron Johnston, who has also worked with David Byrne. The duo—who promise “all improvised electronic music”—made their debut at Sonic Bloom in June and will regroup for shows at Vail, CO’s Shakedown Bar on December 8 and Denver’s Cervantes on December 9. Johnston is an old friend of The String Cheese Incident who has sat in with the ensemble numerous times over the years, especially near his home in New York.

The String Cheese Incident kick off their New Year’s Eve run at Denver’s Mission Ballroom on December 29.
