In preparation for Phish’s four-night New Year’s Eve run at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Dec. 28 through 31, After-Party announcements have been made. They are slated to include appearances by Eggy and the Prince/Bowie musical mash-up featuring members of Pink Talking Fish, Twiddle, The Machine and Bobby Deitch Band.
Following the Vermont jamband’s high-anticipated holiday show on Dec. 28, Eggy will take the stage at the Cutting Room just before midnight. Then, on the following night, at the same venue and time, Prince/Bowie members: Eric Gould, Adrian Tramontano, Scott Chasolen, Cal Kehoe, Matt Wayne and former members of Turkuaz’s horn section will follow the Trey Anastasio-led foursome, down the street to the Cutting Room stage.
Previous Phish After-Party announcements include an appearance by Marble Eyes on Dec. 28 at Hill Country BBQ, featuring members of Pink Talking Fish and Twiddle. Also an upcoming performances at Sony Hall on Dec. 30 by Neighbor and on the next night, and a Dec. 31 fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish will take place when Pink Taking Fish takes a Dec. 31 stand at the Gramercy Theatre. Moreover, on Dec. 29 and 30 sets will be spun by DJ Jerrbrother, and have been slated as Jerry Dance Parties at Hill Country, six-blocks from Madison Square Garden.
