Today, the Brooklyn Bowl announce they’ll host The Creative Music Studio’s Benefit Concert at their venue in New York on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The performance will feature improvised music in the spirit of Ornette Coleman, the Grateful Dead, Medeski, Martin & Wood and more.

The Creative Music Studio’s mission is to engage musicians and listeners from all backgrounds to “deepen and broaden their musical sensitivity, expression and understanding through workshops, recordings and concerts worldwide.”

The list of artists set to further their mission at the Brooklyn Bowl includes Nels, Cline, Ava Mendoza, Billy Martin, Steve Bernstein, Joe Russo, Gabby Fluke-Mogul, Luke Stewart, Mara Rosenbloom, the CMS Improvisers Orchestra, Karl Berger, Ingrid Sertso and many more.
