New York-based quartet TAUK and Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore shared they’ll set out on a collaborative tour this fall. The tour will showcase new material from the ensemble and includes over 20 dates starting in mid-October.

TAUK and Moore’s collaborations began at live shows and festivals over the years, including Electric Forest, Peach Festival and Resonance Festival, stretching back to 2018. TAUK– comprised of Matt Jalbert (guitar), Charlie Dolan (bass), “A.C.” Carter (keyboards), and Isaac Teel (drums)–and Moore recently performed at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City and shared some of their new collaborative songs and stories behind their writing sessions. They also wrote about their joint efforts on social media posts announcing the events. “The tunes conjured up during these sessions are the basis of our TAUK Moore tour coming to a town NEAR YOU,” the band wrote.

TAUK’s tour with Moore tour will kick off on Oct. 20 in Cleveland before moving west with stops in Chicago, Minneapolis, Lawrence, Kan., and Lincoln, Neb. The band and Moore will then bring their sound to the inaugural Oogie Boogie Halloween shows in Denver, which TAUK is co-hosting with Dopapod. Next, they’ll head north and then west first at Salt Lake City, then Boise, Idaho, Portland, Ore., and Seattle before exploring California with stops in Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Ana. The ensemble will round out their shows with some southern city stops, including Pheonix, Tulsa, and Fayetteville, Ariz. The tour will come to a close on Nov. 19 in Austin, Texas following a show the night before in Dallas.
