Adored rock duo Shovels & Rope announced that they will tour this fall in support of their latest offering Manticore, which was released on Feb. 18.  Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst were already set to tour throughout the summer and decided after a pause in September they’ll keep the music coming.

The new dates will kick off in Tomball, Texas on Oct. 13 and will see the South Carolina-based couple perform throughout the Southwest, West Coast and Midwest before traveling to the Southeast where they’ll conclude their travels in Athens, Ga. on Nov. 10. During their fall tour, they’ll stop in major cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans, San Franisco, Seattle and more.

In a review of the album, Relix said of the duo, “Shovels & Rope are becoming masters at emoting over simple narratives that make their words sound even more profound.” Read the full review here.
