Last night, Jack White kicked off The Supply Chain Issues Tour with a special album release show for FEAR OF THE DAWN, at his hometown Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theatre. The performance marked White’s first headline show in four years.

During the performance of the White Stripes’ 2001 hit, “Hotel Yorba” White brought on guitarist Olivia Jean, whom he introduced as his girlfriend, for a duet. He then told her he had a question for her. “Will you marry me?” he asked. After genuine surprise and joy from Jean and the song flowed into the next line: “Let’s get married!” White then picked her up and carried her off stage. Before long they returned and got married then and there. Third Man’s Ben Swank served as officiant and White’s mother, Jean’s father, their family and close friends were in attendance.

“God bless you Detroit,” said White as he closed out the show. “What a day!”

White’s tour will continue his tour with a second sold-out FEAR OF THE DAWN release show at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theatre which will be followed by stops around North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.

White’s second upcoming album of the year ENTERING HEAVEN ALIVE  will available on July 22, 2022.
