The Rock and Roll Playhouse has released its lineup and locations for March events. The family concert series pops up across the country and invites kids and parents to immerse themselves in a fun musical experience inspired by some of rock-n-rolls best acts.

The fun begins today at Fairfield Theatre in Fairfield, Conn. Saturday’s iteration of the event will feature the music of Prince and has fittingly been dubbed the Purple Party. At White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, N.J., RRPH will host a Grateful Dead-themed set on March 20.

Also, on March 20, in Brooklyn, N.Y., The Rock and Roll Playhouse will present the music of Fela Kuti, featuring Chop and Quench at the Brooklyn Bowl. In Colorado, at Denver’s Bluebird Theater, the music of Phish featuring Kings of Prussia will be played.

The following weekend, The Rock and Roll Playhouse will pop up at Rockefeller Center in New York City to celebrate Women’s History Month with the music of Women Who Rock. The following day, the music of Bruce Springsteen will be played at The Vogel in Red Bank, N.J.

On March 27, Brooklyn Bowl New York will feature the music of Fleetwood Mac, while at the Philadelphia location, the music of The Beatles will be played. The following day at Chicago’s Cubby Bear, The Rock and Roll Playhouse will present the music of Phish.
