LCD Soundsystem have announced they’ll return to the stage with two four-night residencies in Philadelphia and Boston starting late March. The performances mark the group’s first shows of 2022 and residencies since they canceled the final three shows of their 20-date stint at New York City’s Brooklyn Steel as the Omicron variant of COVID-19 hammered the country in December 2021.

James Murphy (vocals, various instruments), Nancy Whang (synthesizer, keyboards, vocals), Pat Mahoney (drums), Tyler Pope (bass, guitar, synthesizer), Al Doyle (guitar, synthesizer, percussion), Matt Thornley (guitar, synthesizer, percussion), and Korey Richey (synthesizer, piano, percussion) will head to Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall on March 28 and continue play on the following evenings of March 29, 30 and 31. After a short break, the Brooklyn dancetronica pioneers will head to Boston’s new venue Roadrunner. Their Boston residency will commence on Sunday, April 3 and run through April 6.

While LCD Soundsystem has not announced new New York City dates, they promised fans who had their shows canceled in December “front of the line” opportunities when the shows are rescheduled.

Fan presale will kick off on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. EST. General on-sale for both four-day residencies will be available Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. EST.
