Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo, announced the upcoming release dates of four new albums, titled SZNS, via his Twitter account.

The projects will consist of a four-albums; each is titled after a meteorological season of the year. According to the Tweet, Spring will be released on March 20, Summer is expected on June 20, Fall on Sept. 22, and Winter will be shared on Dec. 21.

Cuomo noted that the releases will coincide with the coming of each season in real-time, tacking on the addendum, “Those should be the first days of the seasons so please correct me if I’m wrong.” He also noted that the dates were “not confirmed with any record company or manager.”

Cuomo previously discussed the concept of a four-album collection in an interview last year with the Strombo Show on Apple Music, “The next idea is a four-album set, where each album corresponds to one of the four seasons. And then each album has a very different vibe and lyrical theme.”

He also mentioned musical influences for the albums are Elliott Smith with “lots of loss and despair and kind of quiet” for Winter, Franz Ferdinand for a “dance rock” themed Fall album, and a “breezy island” vibe for Spring.
