Billy String announced over social media that his holiday shows String the Halls set to take place tonight and tomorrow at Marathon Music Works in Nashville has been canceled. The cause for the cancelation is due to a positive COVID-19 test within Strings’ touring crew.

The event was set to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission. Now that it has been canceled fans have been asked to drop off donation items to the shelter directly. Posters for the event are being sold online and tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.

Friends, it is with the utmost sadness that we must cancel String the Halls due to a positive covid case within our crew. No one wanted these shows to happen more than us, but we cannot risk the health and safety of you our beloved fans, our special guests, our crew, the band and the venue staff.

We know a lot of you traveled in from out of town, and are deeply sorry. For those of you who chose to buy donation items for Nashville Rescue Mission, you can drop them off with the shelter directly.

We will also make the show posters available online with proceeds going to Nashville Rescue Mission in the near future – please stay tuned for more info.

At this time we have every intention of performing our New Year’s Eve run in Grand Rapids and can’t wait to see you there. We love you and hope you all stay healthy and safe this holiday season.

All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase (credit/debit card purchases will be automatically refunded – no action is required).

If you purchased tickets with cash at the box office, please email [email protected] and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
