In an Instagram post shared today by Lotus, the band announced they will headline the fabled Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on April 23, alongside special guests.

The self-described “jamtronica” band will be joined by Australian synth-pop group Cut Copy and Portland, Ore. based indie rockers STRFKR, who will perform a DJ set.

The upcoming concert comes one year after Lotus performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2021, following the release of their EP Citrus and 2020 offering, Free Swim.

Band members Tim Palmieri (guitarist), Jesse Miller (bassist), Mike Greenfield (drummer), Luke Miller (guitarist/ keyboardist) and Chuck Morris (percussionist) have taken their sound from its jam band roots and transformed it into one of the most eclectically styled groups in the industry, with influences that range from dance pioneers like Brian Eno and Talking Heads to krautrockers Trans Am and Tortoise.

News of Lotus’ Red Rocks dates follows the band’s early December announcement that they would add 10-stops to their forthcoming tour. Read more here
