Dispatch have announced that they have canceled their fall tour due to COVID-19 concerns. The tour was set to be fully acoustic and would have taken place at indoor venues.
The band wrote on social media:
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to cancel all performances on the acoustic tour this fall. When it comes down to it, ensuring the health and safety of those in the audience and onstage is of the utmost importance to us, and there were no guarantees this would be the case given the current state of COVID-19, and a fully indoor tour. We all need to rally to make sure this pandemic comes to a long-overdue end.
Refunds to all shows (except for our outdoor performance at Freshgrass, which we will perform as planned) will be provided automatically at the point of purchase. We’re gutted that we won’t be back on stage with you this year but are hopeful and optimistic we’ll be able to jam with you in a safer future.

This announcement comes just hours after Lettuce canceled their tour dates for September after a band member contracted the virus despite taking health precautions.
