Widespread Panic announced through social media that they have canceled their run of shows in Napa, Calif. The shows have been rescheduled to the same weekend in 2022.
The band wrote in the statement:
We are sorry to announce that our shows at the Oxbow RiverStage in Downtown Napa on August 27, 28 and 29, 2021 have been rescheduled to the same weekend in 2022: August 26, 27, and 28, 2022. All tickets and parking passes purchased will be honored for the newly rescheduled dates in 2022, including three-day tickets. Should you be unable to attend the new show dates, please go to the place of purchase no later than September 19, 2021, to request a refund (30 days from the rescheduled dates announcement). This will allow others who can attend to purchase your ticket(s). We thank you for understanding and look forward to seeing you at the shows!
This cancellation follows the announcement of John Bell contracting the virus despite being fully vaccinated and the band’s postponement of the run of shows they had set for Austin. Bell made a statement about his condition saying, “My symptoms are mild (slight fever, aches, and a bit of sinus congestion) and I am in no discomfort, apart from postponing our shows in Austin this week.”
