On Wednesday, June 2, Phil Lesh made a surprise weekday appearance in the Eastern U.S., sitting in with his son Grahame Lesh’s Midnight North band at Nashville’s Exit/In.
The elder Lesh joined the band for cuts like their recent single “Coyote” as well as their End of the Night track “San Francisco Rain.”
The Grateful Dead bassist was also sure to spice up the setlist with an old favorite – “New Speedway Boogie.”
Later, Phil returned for the encore, Midnight North’s Under The Lights selection “Greene County.”
