On Apr. 30, Umphrey’s McGee delivered the first show of their Plan Bee Spring Tour. The band performed a drive-in show at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga. Amid expertly performed originals, the band teased artists such as Phish and Jimi Hendrix and closed the second set with a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.”

The show kicked off with the aptly named “Roctopus,” which got things off to an energetic start. The band then dove into the funky “Suxity” – containing a “Voodoo Chile” tease – which smoothly transitioned into “The Linear.” After a sandwich sequence featuring “Conduit” and “Kabump,” the band closed the frame with “Miss Tinkle’s Overture.”

Set two began with “Bridgeless,” followed by “Remind Me” and “Sludge & Death.” During the following “Resolution,” the band teased Phish’s “Cars Trucks Buses.” The set eventually closed with the aforementioned “Comfortably Numb,” which was played to perfection.

The band returns to the Atlanta Motor Speedway stage tonight (May 1) for night two of their run. Check out the full setlist from night one below.
